A true Art Deco classic! These very highly sought after and very collectible pink glasses are hard to come by! After its inception in 1927 by Tiffin-Franciscan, the renowned Great Depression Era glassmaking company, the poppy-themed floral pattern known as ‘Flanders’ would go on to become one of the company’s most enduringly popular designs in the history of the company, even after being discontinued 8 years later, in 1935.

The ‘Flanders’ pattern came in multiple colors during its production period, and these included: pink, yellow, green, clear, and gold. So popular was the pattern that Tiffin even made different styles of glass stems for customers to choose from.

Stem styles of glassware are often numbered in order to differentiate one from another. The style of stem seen in this listing is formally known as Stem #024-15024, which indicates that the crystal stem is clear in color and bows outwardly in shape. And even though the company officially stopped production of this glass in 1935, this combination of the pink bowl & clear crystal stem is still the most popular design style available for the ‘Flanders’ line.

There are 6 glasses currently in stock that can be purchased and each one of them is in great vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or breaks of any kind; there is virtually no cosmetic damage to speak of, save for some light scratching on the of base of the glass. These scratches are only visible when viewed with a light & examined under close inspection. Each glass, which are actually water goblets, measures approximately 8-1/4” in height, with its bowl measuring 3-3/8” in diameter.
