Considered by Zen Buddhists to be the 28th patriarch in Buddhism that traces all the way back to Gautama Buddha himself, Bodhidharma is arguably one of the most influential figures in Buddhism. Instilling the spirituality with practices like zen meditation, as well as being credited for bringing Zen Buddhism to China, he’s still widely revered. This antique statue of his likeness, measuring approximately 9-inches in height, shows the wise sage monk cast in heavy bronze, holding a walking stick & wearing 22k gilded golden robes as he moves along his spiritual journey.
